Indigo Yoga Healing Arts, based in Encinitas, California, is committed to providing the ancient healing practice of Raja Yoga to the modern-day human being. The eight-fold, or eight-limbed path, of yoga is a scientific system for Self- realization which brings balance to the mind, body and Spirit.  Indigo Yoga focuses on healing on all levels: mental, emotional, physical and Spiritual. Students learn to cleanse and heal the body, clear the mind and experience a sense of their own divinity.  The result is forward positive movement in a clear, compassionate direction on each level. The ancient practices of yoga asana (posture practice), pranayama (breath practice), and yoga philosophy build a strong foundation for growth and well-being.

The Fine Art of Teaching Yoga to Children Teacher’s Training is a certification program designed to teach parents, public and private school teachers, fitness instructors, yoga teachers and students the Indigo Yoga for Children of All Ages teaching method of teaching yoga to children. The method blends the traditional healing science and practices of yoga from the East with Spiritual Psychology techniques of the West. The underlying root perception of both doctrines is that we are Souls having a human experience. In this human experience, we tend to feel separate and we suffer. The word Yoga means union or yoking together. As we practice, we yoke the mind, body and Spirit into one and we heal Working with ourselves and our children on all levels: mental, emotional, physical and Spiritual, creates a sense of wholeness.. The Indigo Yoga method provides the space and time to develop respect and compassion for your Self and others, to learn and grow naturally and slowly and to trust your instincts and intuition. Happiness in the mode of goodness may in the beginning seem like poison, but at the end is just like nectar, for it is born out of the peace of self-realization. The Bhagavad-Gita, Chapter 18, Verse 38.
