Creator of Indigo Yoga for Children Teaching Methodology and Author of the Teacher’s Manual

 

 

Pamela’s experience of over 38 years study and 25 years teaching has provided her with a deep understanding of the ancient healing science of Yoga. Working on all four levels; mental; emotional; physical and Spiritual, her teachings are unique and powerfully effective. Pamela is the Author of the Teacher’s Manual to the Nationally acclaimed teacher training: The Fine Art of Teaching Yoga to Children. She also teaches Hatha and Ashtanga yoga asana, pranayama, and yoga philosophy Nationwide. Her studies began with dance legends Martha Graham, Bella Lewitzky, Merce Cunningham, Twyla Tharp, Alvin Ailey, Gabriel Roth, Mark Morris, many others.  After a 14 year professional dance career, Pamela retired from performance and choreography in 1988. Currently, Pamela studies Ashtanga Yoga with Pattahbi Jois of Mysore, India and Tim Miller at the Ashtanga Yoga Center in Encinitas, CA. Pamela has a Bachelor in Fine Arts and a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology. She is a member of the California Yoga Teacher’s Association and the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
