Zen Mountain Center is a Zen Buddhist training and retreat center located on 160 acres of wilderness in the wild and beautiful San Jacinto Mountains of Southern California. Founded in 1981 by Taizan Maezumi, Roshi as a summer retreat center for the Zen Center of Los Angeles, it is now a year-round Zen training center for resident and non-resident trainees under the direction of Charles Tenshin Fletcher, Sensei.
